Filter bags made of Aramide needle felt combined with properly prepared acrylic fibers by a special needling method result in a felt that is more durable than pure Aramide.
The main features of this design are:
- high resistance against hydrolysis
- high resistance against oxidizing
- usability in acidic working environment
- good filtration efficiency
- lesser pressure drop
- slower fiber degradation
This material is ideal for filtration processes where the lifetime of the bags is of great importance. It is mechanically more durable than ordinary “Nomex” and is available in different weights, with PTFE fiber support, and in water and oil repellent PTFE-based finish.
